The latest MCU hit film, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Seems to have paid rich dividends at the box office. Shang-Chi is the first MCU film featuring an Asian superhero. As per Forbes, it has crossed the $250 million mark at the global box office. Which is hugely impressive for a pandemic release.
The film is almost $140 million at the worldwide box office. In India, the film’s one-week total, as per Bollywood Hungama, was Rs 15.28 crore.

The movie’s box office performance has not been affected by newer contenders. Like James Wan’s Malignant, which opened to a paltry $5.57 million in North America.
